Being Mentally Strong
In 2015, Amy Morin gave a TEDx called The Secret of Becoming Mentally Strong. According to Morin, mentally strong people have healthy habits that help them manage their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. In this infographic Morin summarizes the 13 things mentally strong people don’t do.
I use this list, along with the wonderful Khan Academy video “You can Learn Anything”, to kick off any skills training series. They work with kids and with adults in a professional setting. It’s a great way to set the table. Above all, they prepare attendees to be excited and confident in what they can accomplish.
